Serving more than 25 years as CEO, Stacy Carter has guided Carter + Clark to become the nation’s largest builder services and surveying firm, leading the industry by building a technology company to meet the surveying needs of their clients.
Responsible for the overall vision and direction of the company, Stacy’s energetic leadership, combined with a sharp business acumen and entrepreneurial drive, has helped skyrocket C+C’s growth and has earned her the trust of blue-chip clients like DR Horton and AECOM. In addition to extensive expertise in surveying, planning, engineering, and construction management, it’s Stacy’s willingness to inspire and mentor others that’s compelling. With the goal to create a loyal, committed workplace, Stacy has successfully recruited the most talented and innovative people in the industry to join her team.
Stacy obtained her civil engineering education from Georgia Tech, her land surveying training from Middle Georgia College, and a mathematics and statistics degree from Mercer University. Additionally, she’s a licensed general contractor experienced in both commercial and luxury residential construction. A community leader and philanthropist, Stacy has been recognized multiple times as one of Gwinnett Magazine’s “People to Know.” Stacy is married, has two daughters, and resides in Suwanee, Ga.
As a Business Development Executive and a licensed land surveyor, Chris Clark is responsible for business development and professional licensing at Carter + Clark. With extensive experience in all aspects of land surveying, including land development and builder services, Chris is licensed as a land surveyor in 11 states and a Level II Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Design professional.
In his previous role with KCI Technologies, Chris was responsible for the State of Georgia survey practice. He brings 23 years of diverse professional surveying and engineering experience to the firm and was also recently honored as one of Gwinnett Magazine’s “People to Know.”
Chris graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Surveying and Mapping from Kennesaw State University. Chris is married, has two children, and resides in Suwanee, Ga.
A Carter + Clark employee for more than 13 years, David Baggett manages the largest department in the company. As VP of Operations, David oversees field operations and production for both Builder Services and our Government Disaster Recovery Program. He works to ensure that every order is processed quickly and to high standards of quality. With more than 30 years in the industry, David represents the best of C+C by providing knowledge, guidance, and consistent support to both our clients and employees.
David attended Southern Tech in Marietta, Ga. (now Kennesaw State College). A licensed land surveyor in the State of Georgia since 1997, he holds professional licenses in 7 states and is a Level II Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Design professional. David lives with his wife and has two children in Winder, Ga.
Since 2013, Gavin Bacchus has continually kept Carter and Clark on the cutting edge of technology and innovation. As Vice President of Research and Development, Gavin’s ability to identify problems and offer solutions has led to substantial operational improvements throughout the company. C+C’s own “MacGyver,” his technological expertise and troubleshooting talents have made it possible for the company to now process more than 8,000 client orders per month. As the developer of C+C’s proprietary and client-facing operational software, CCConnect, Gavin has given C+C an undeniable advantage that has garnered attention throughout the industry.
Gavin graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and is an FAA-licensed commercial drone pilot.
Karen Foster has been part of the C+C team for over eight years in the areas of site design, quality control and account management. She brings to her role as Vice President of Account Management proven leadership and extensive experience in account management and business operations.
Karen leads the Account Management team to ensure customer satisfaction, as well as timely and accurate project completion. With Net Promoter Scores (NPS) consistently in the high 90’s, this is documented proof of C+C's passion for customer support.
Karen graduated Magna Cum Laude from Middle Tennessee State University and is married with two children.
Michelle Leahy Bacchus joined the Carter + Clark team in 2013 and is a proven-leader with extensive experience in business development and account management. As a Business Development Executive, she is responsible for organic growth and cultivating key client relationships. Client satisfaction is the foundation of C+C's success and Michelle makes sure it stays that way.
Prior to her current role, Michelle was VP of Account Management where she led the account management team to ensure customer satisfaction and organic growth by establishing scalable procedures, recruiting, training while providing top-tier customer service - even as the company quadrupled in size. It’s this ambitious mix of aggressive sales, superior support, and decisive management, that has made Michelle a critical factor in C+C’s surge of success.
Michelle has held leadership positions for more than 20 years. After working for 9 years in sales management for Gateway Computers, Michelle was a Banking Center Manager for Bank of America, where she was accountable for the NE Division Mortgage Development and the SBA Management teams.
She is married, has three daughters, and resides in Sugar Hill, Georgia.
Kayla Spraggins manages C+C's human resources and finance department. In her 9 years of tenure, she has cultivated long-lasting senior level relationships with finance departments of our blue chip clients. Kayla has been instrumental in creating and automating scalable processes. This has allowed her to manage 8000+ invoices per month, achieving industry leading KPIs, while reducing department headcount. In additional to AR, AP and payroll, Kayla also oversees C+C's employee training program and other special projects.
Kayla graduated with honors from Georgia College & State University. She resides in Covington, Georgia, is married with two children.
